Terms of service

These terms govern your use of WP Image Fixer — the wpimagefixer.com website, the MCP service at mcp.wpimagefixer.com, and the optional YLabs Image Fixer Connector WordPress plugin — a service by YLabs (“we”, “us”). By connecting an account or site, you agree to them.

1. What WP Image Fixer is

WP Image Fixer lets AI assistants you already use (such as ChatGPT or Claude) work on the images of your WordPress site through tools you invoke in conversation. It scans and reports on your images and, when you ask it to (or, on Keep It Fixed, automatically for new uploads), changes them: compressing, resizing, converting formats (for example to WebP or AVIF), removing embedded location and camera data, and saving alt text. You see a preview before a fix is applied, and every fix can be undone.

2. Accounts & access

Your WP Image Fixer sign-in uses the same account system as our other products (WPWriter and WP Agent): email and password, or Google, GitHub or Facebook. Site access uses a revocable WordPress Application Password that you approve inside your own wp-admin; we never receive your WordPress login password, and you can revoke access at any time in wp-admin → Users → Profile. Keep control of the assistant accounts you connect — anyone using them can use your WP Image Fixer connections.

3. Plans

  • Free: 25 fixes per month (full-size images only), refilling on the 1st of each calendar month. Scans, page reports, undo and originals downloads do not use up fixes. Resized copies that WordPress makes of an image (thumbnails and other sub-sizes) are never counted.
  • Full Fix — $19, one-time, per site: unlimited fixes on the one WordPress site it was bought for, within the fair-use limits below. It does not transfer to other sites. No subscription.
  • Keep It Fixed — $9.99 per month or $99 per year, per site: unlimited fixes on one site within the fair-use limits below (the site chosen at checkout, or, if none was chosen, the first site you fix after subscribing), plus a weekly check of that site in which new uploads that can be made meaningfully smaller are fixed automatically, with a summary email when that happens.

Current prices are on the pricing page. We may modify pricing and features with reasonable notice; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout.

Fair use and technical limits

Plans are for your own sites and the sites you manage. “Unlimited” means no fixed number of image fixes, within the fair-use limits below; it is not an image-processing service for resale. Work paused by one of these limits resumes automatically when the limit resets. These limits currently apply:

  • Up to 25 connected sites per account.
  • On Free and Full Fix: up to 1,000 tool calls per account per day (resetting at midnight UTC). Keep It Fixed has no daily call limit.
  • Requests are rate-limited per IP address to protect the service (currently 300 per minute).
  • Single images larger than 25 MB, or larger than 40 megapixels (or 12,000 pixels on a side), are skipped.
  • Fixing is limited to 600 images per site per hour and, on paid plans, 3,000 images per account per day (resetting at midnight UTC).
  • Monthly fair-use budget: Keep It Fixed up to 5,000 image fixes per account per month; Full Fix up to 20,000 image fixes per site per month (resetting on the 1st, UTC).
  • Keep It Fixed fixes up to 300 new uploads automatically per site per week.
  • Up to 3 background fixing jobs run at once per account on paid plans (1 on Free).
  • The weekly Keep It Fixed check looks at up to 300 of the newest uploads per site per check.

4. Payments, taxes & invoices (Lemon Squeezy)

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com). Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all WP Image Fixer orders: it processes your payment, calculates and collects any applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt and invoice. Your card details go to Lemon Squeezy, never to us. Lemon Squeezy’s own terms also apply to your purchase.

Paid plans are not on sale yet; checkout opens at launch.

5. Subscriptions, renewal & cancelling

  • Keep It Fixed renews automatically at the end of each billing period (every month, or every year if you chose yearly billing at checkout) until cancelled, and Lemon Squeezy charges the payment method you used.
  • How to cancel: use the subscription management link in the emails Lemon Squeezy sends you, or email [email protected] and we will cancel it for you.
  • Cancelling stops future charges, and your plan runs to the end of the paid period. After that, your account returns to the Free plan.
  • Images already fixed stay fixed, and undo and originals download stay free on every plan.

6. Refunds

Refunds follow our Refund policy, the same approach as our other products: a 14-day money-back guarantee on Full Fix purchases and new Keep It Fixed subscriptions, and after that, if something went wrong with a purchase, email [email protected] — we handle refund requests case by case and err on the side of fairness. Approved refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method.

7. Digital delivery

WP Image Fixer is a digital service. Access is granted immediately after payment, by connecting your WordPress site. No physical goods are shipped. A Full Fix purchase applies to the site you bought it for; Keep It Fixed applies to one site as soon as Lemon Squeezy confirms the payment: the site chosen at checkout, or the first site you fix after subscribing.

8. Acceptable use

  • You must own or have authority to manage every site you connect.
  • Don’t use WP Image Fixer to process or publish unlawful content, malware, or content that infringes others’ rights.
  • Don’t attempt to breach, overload or probe the service, access other people’s sites or accounts, circumvent plan limits (for example with multiple accounts), or resell the service as an image-processing service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

9. Your sites, your images & your originals

  • You retain all rights to your site content and images. You grant us only the licence needed to read, process and write back the images you ask WP Image Fixer to work on, on your site, as you request (and, on Keep It Fixed, new uploads).
  • We do not store copies of your images on our servers. An image is processed only while a fix runs, and the result is written straight back to your site.
  • Your originals are kept on your own site so any change can be undone. Without the optional plugin, the original media item is never deleted and a new, smaller one is added. With the plugin, the original is copied to wp-content/uploads/wp-image-fixer-originals/ on your site before it is replaced.
  • WP Image Fixer never deletes your originals. Undo and originals download are free on every plan and keep working for as long as the original files remain on your site. If you delete them yourself (for example the backup folder), those fixes can no longer be undone.
  • When a plan ends or is cancelled, nothing is removed from your site: fixed images stay fixed and your originals stay where they are, with no time limit. Our records of your fixes are kept while your account exists, so undo keeps working, and are deleted if you delete your account (see the privacy policy).

10. Third-party services

  • WordPress: WP Image Fixer works with self-hosted WordPress sites through the WordPress REST API. WordPress is a trademark of the WordPress Foundation.
  • Stock photos: photos found through WP Image Fixer come from Unsplash and are provided under the Unsplash License. When you add one, a linked credit (“Photo by … on Unsplash”) is written into the media caption; keep that credit with the photo.
  • AI assistants: ChatGPT, Claude and other MCP clients are your own tools, used under their providers’ terms. What you type there and what WP Image Fixer returns to them is handled by those providers.
  • WP Image Fixer is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WordPress.org, the WordPress Foundation, OpenAI or Anthropic.

11. Availability, disclaimer & limitation of liability

We aim for the service to be fast and reliable, but it is provided “as is”, without warranty of uninterrupted availability. We may improve, add or retire features; if we ever discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice.

Load-time savings are estimates for a typical mobile connection. Real results depend on your hosting, theme, caching and visitors. We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic or any business outcome.

You are responsible for your own site backups. WordPress revisions and your own backups remain your safety net — WP Image Fixer’s undo is not a backup service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Termination

You can stop using WP Image Fixer at any time — revoke its Application Password in wp-admin → Users → Profile, remove the connector from your assistant, cancel any subscription and, if you wish, request account deletion. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. Your images and originals stay on your site either way.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date, and for material changes we will notify active subscribers by email.

14. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by applicable law. If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
